These are the principles that govern my patriotism, my actions, and my comportment. I always look for inspiration in the work of great men and these are giants among the people.

How many times you have heard this, "I'm {...}, and I'm running for Congress. I served our country, went to Harvard, and my parents are immigrants. I live in your district and have served my district and as a legislator in the { ...} House of Representatives and Senate. Now it's time for me to serve you in Congress."
And that is always followed by this.
"In this political climate, you deserve someone who will work for you. You deserve someone who will put partisan politics aside, and get things done and you will not find a better candidate than me."
How many times have you heard the same pick-up line from career politicians? You've heard one, you've heard them all. It looks like Harvard needs to update the curriculum because they keep churning children of the Elite who assume that they are" born to do this" and entitled to reign, "Now is my time to "serve" you in Congress." Says who??
It is said that doing the same and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. So why do we choose the same politicians but expect different results? The most successful people we know did not go to Harvard or any other Ivy League School. Most of them did not even finish college. The most spiritual people keep clean and stay away from politics, and the real patriots are on active duty protecting our borders, interests, and sovereignty. A law degree does not make one a patriot or a leader. All of us have at one time or another met or hired lawyers. Were they smarter than you? Do they have more common sense? But above all, did they resolve your problem on time for a reasonable amount of money??
If you check the congress roster, you will see that almost everyone has the same biography and education.
Then why is Congress unable to produce a single effective resolution, when they are handsomely paid to do exactly that for 8 hours per day??
One example, they have been talking about healthcare for ten years and still no solution. Can you imagine if you let a problem at work to fester unsolved for ten years? You will be fired long before for incompetence, not promoted to higher levels of management. How come that common sense does not apply to the government?
And the real question is, why do you still vote to re-elect the same people? They have the same background; they make the same promises; they fail to deliver the same. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.
I did go to college. I went to Purdue University to play football. That was my honest incentive to pursue higher education. I did choose philosophy and political science as my major. I excelled in disciplines I liked and did not even care to apply myself in others, outside of my spectrum of interests. By the age of nineteen, fitness became my passion. Arnold and Stalone were the role models of my generation. They taught me dedication, perseverance, competition, and commitment. As much as I admired fitness idols, the most valuable lesson I learned came from a different source. It Isaac Barrow, who said, " Nothing worth of weight can be achieved with half a mind, with a faint heart, and with a lame endeavor." Yes, I was an odd mixture of a book worm and gym rat. (Thanks, mom! )
I was young, dedicated, and I loved to work with people. To this day, I'm entirely fascinated when I witness how a mental strength becomes physical strength, and how that leads to emotional strength. Isaac Burrow was right. No challenge, no reward.
There is nothing more satisfying than to witness a personal transformation. I joined the fitness world as a trainer and started working in YWCA in Fort Wayne, Indiana. My pay was $8.50H, and at that time, I thought of myself cool, and well paid. In 2010, I opened my first Metroflex gym, and now we franchise in other states. Now I understand the first principle of economics " The cost of something is what you give up to get it."
It seems that our politicians did not study or do no understand this principle. They either want to give everything for free, or to pay for it with your money, including paying themselves with your cash.
The fury at our ruling body is justified by alienation from the very people they represent because of their elitists' background. But the government is only partially to be blamed. The truth is, we elect people who do not care for us and do not deliver solutions for our problems.
There is a Swedish proverb that says, " If you don't solve your problem, they will become other people's problems." Example, Immigration. The House can not agree to open or close the borders. As a result, thousands of illegal immigrants flee to our country, thinking they can walk in, and some perish in that journey. Nobody considered if we have the resources to care for these people, and the exact people that invite them here refuse to provide for their care or security. So now our internal disagreements are affecting the quality of life of people that have nothing to our problems.
It seems that everybody is too busy to sling mud at each other to even think about what we, the People want or need.
I'm fed up with the stagnation, and the imploring government. I'm concerned that we are moving at unprecedented speed toward civil unrest nationwide or even civil war. We are quickly becoming a country where everybody is above the Law, and the Law can and is applied selectively depends on your zip code. We are swinging between anarchy or oversight and over-regulation. There are the voices out there that demand different laws for different skin colors, which is the exact definition of racism and the exact opposite of progressive thinking. University professors indoctrinate our children to incite violence and civil unrest and pity them against each other because of their race or beliefs. Our schools no longer teach values, promote national identity, or encourage proper public discourse. We are forced to become a country without borders, and a nation without personal boundaries by egomaniacal, ignorant, or confused politicians. Our beloved America, the beautiful, is going through an identity crisis. Everybody wants a piece. She is harassed, abused, and vilified beyond belief, and I'm here to defend our country along with my fellow men.
