that need immediate attention
Congressional District 7
I. First and foremost, We must control our border. Without sovereignty, we do not have a country. If we kick illegal criminals out of the country they just walk right back across our porous border. We need comprehensive and common-sense border reform before we do anything with the 20-25 million people currently here illegally. Once the border is secured and controlled we can then pursue reasonable and just immigration reform that provides a pathway to permanent residency for undocumented illegals in the United States. This will restore law, order, and peace in our communities, therefore sensible compromise and cooperation from all sides are needed.
II. Attract more business to Arizona's Congressional District 7. We need to create more job opportunities by keeping our state laws favorable for aspiring entrepreneurs, employers, and employees in Arizona.
III. We must develop the opportunity zones to ignite the economy in our district. Never before have more favorable conditions and financial incentives been afforded to our district.
IV. Working together with the small business administration, the homeowners' associations, the school system, and the community centers we want to create programs that bring pride back to ownership along with economic prosperity in CD 7.
V. Increase the home values in congressional district 7. The value of a home reflects the quality of life, the prosperity, and the economic stability of its owner and neighborhood. The home values in CD 7 are the lowest in Arizona, but in this case, it doesn't mean that the homes are affordable. The value of a home in our district usually reflects the undesirable condition of the home or the lack of amenities, good schools, location, and economic conditions.
VI. Doing everything in our power to ensure that children finish high school, and pursue higher education after graduation. At the moment only 68 % of the students in CD7 finish high school, and only 13% of the high school graduates in CD7, Arizona attend college. Reasonable immigration and prison reform will ensure that law-abiding, working parents can continue to take care of their families, so children can remain in schools.
